One question I get asked all the time as a wedding photographer is about printing wedding photos. SO many people get their galleries from their photographer and never even end up printing any. This blog post outlines my top recommendations on places to print your photos and also create beautiful canvases, albums and more.
Print your wedding photos directly through your gallery
If you are looking for high quality, professional prints and products I recommend using the printing option that is directly in your online gallery if your photographer has one. These are always top notch printing labs that will give you the highest quality products. I deliver all of my galleries through Pic-Time, which includes a shop directly integrated into the gallery experience. At the top there is a “SHOP” button. This allows you to order premium quality prints, canvases, calendars, albums and more directly from your gallery.
Print Photos at Artifact Uprising
If you’re looking for a more commercial option that is still incredibly high quality, I always recommend Artifact Uprising to my clients. I recommend them for printing wedding photos because they have a quality guarantee and use premium materials. The products will hold up for the long term. They are something that can be enjoyed for the rest of your lives together. A few of my favorite products from Artifact Uprising include: Wedding Flatlay Albums, Thank You Cards, and Traditional Prints. If you are still planning your wedding I also love that they have affordable vow books that you can personalize. I’ve also had clients print albums of their engagement photos with Artifact Uprising for their guest book at their wedding. If you plan to order from Artifact Uprising, reach out to me and I can share my custom promo code!
What About Printing Wedding Photos at Big Box Stores?
For something as important as wedding photos, I do recommend investing in one of the two previous printers for your photos. If you’re looking for a cheaper route, I’d avoid Walmart for printing. The color of the photos typically is off and inconsistent. Shutterfly and Amazon Photos are both better in my opinion!
