You don’t need to go to a big city to get a fun, urban vibe for your engagement photos. Stevie + Nick wanted downtown Eau Claire photos and this turned out to be such a fun, incredible night! This is perfect for couples who don’t want to travel all the way to a bigger city but still want a more urban feel for their engagement photos.
My Favorite Spots in Downtown Eau Claire
One of the things I love the most about Eau Claire is that Downtown Eau Claire has so much variety for engagement photos. Stevie and Nick walked the Barstow street area which has a cute main street vibe. Olson’s ice cream shop, an adorable small movie theater, and my favorite spot – a cute parking ramp rooftop, are all within two blocks of each other! Stevie + Nick also capped off their session with a glass of champagne at Dive, a rooftop bar at The Lismore Hotel. The staff is always great and you can’t beat the atmosphere. Plus, they have amazing pizza! It’s always one of my favorite spots in the summer.
Chic, Classy Outfits to Match the Downtown Vibe
Stevie + Nick dressed their part for the vibe! Stevie brought really cute ‘bride’ sunglasses from Charlotte’s Bridal and her jumpsuit was GOALS. Nick didn’t look too shabby either with his tailored look. They looked totally chic and classy.
Added Bonus! Phoenix Park Engagement Photos
One thing I really love about the downtown area is that it is very easy to walk a couple of blocks over to Phoenix Park. It makes it very easy to combine outdoorsy, nature vibes with downtown vibes so that you can get fun variety in your photos. Heading over to Phoenix Park doesn’t take much extra time at all but a completely different vibe! Beautiful bridges and glowy sunsets over the water are a major highlight of taking engagement sessions at Phoenix Park.
